Social Skills Development
What We Focus On:
Building social confidence and communication skills in a fun and supportive way
Tailored to your child’s interests, needs, and learning style
Strengthening emotional understanding, peer interaction, and confidence in group settings
Some of the Skills We Support:
Turn-taking, waiting, and sharing
Understanding conversations and social cues
Making and maintaining friendships
Expressing needs and emotions clearly
Participating confidently in group activities
How We Work:
Sessions are play-based, flexible, and strengths-focused
We use engaging tools like:
Role-playing (e.g. shopping, playing doctors)
Games with puppets, toys, and teddies to explore expression and empathy
Board games to practice turn-taking and teamwork
Each session gently builds on previous skills and celebrates every achievement — no matter how small
Where Sessions Happen:
In your home — where your child feels safe and comfortable
We bring everything needed (games, props, visuals, etc.)
All you need to provide is a quiet, low-distraction space (e.g. lounge room, bedroom, or outdoor area)
Session Details:
Sessions typically run for 1 hour (can be adjusted based on your child’s energy and attention)
Parents are encouraged to step away to support confidence and independence
Each session focuses on individual social goals and evolves as your child grows
